26 prompts to help you figure out what you want in life
I feel like we’ve all been there before. To be honest, I’m pretty sure we face a similar question in some facet each time we transition into a new season of our life.
What the hell am I going to do with my life?
And I mean, I could definitely go real deep into this question and unpack it into things like “it’s not what you do with your life, it’s who you chose to be in your life” which is cute and all, but that’s not why you’re here right now, is it?
You’re here - you somehow found this post and found me - because you’re feeling lost and your brain probably feels like a tangled mess. The answers are already in there, you can feel them, you just need a little help untangling all the thoughts to uncover some answers.
Well, as much as I wish I could hand you your answers on a silver platter and brush all your worries and existential crises away, it’s not quite that simple. There’s going to be a lot of inner excavating on your part before you can dig out those gems.
Here’s the truth (oh you’re going to love this part): it’s all about the journey, baby.
As annoying as it is to hear, it’s the gosh darn truth my friend.
So here’s what you gotta do:
Step 1: Accept that it’s a journey and you’re going to have to do a shit ton of inner work over the course of your life to figure out what you want out of life, and then a shit ton more of changing and adapting to each season of your life.
Step 2: Decide to love the journey - and yourself - anyway because in the end that’s all that really matters.
Step 3: Get out a pen and paper ‘cause we about to untangle those tangled thoughts.
