6 Creativity Podcasts to Listen to When You're In a Slump
Podcasts might just be classified as a personal addiction for me these past few years. Particularly personal development podcasts, and creativity is one of the most important aspects of my growth. Below are some of my favorite creativity podcasts to listen to, especially when I'm in a slump.
But first, a quick note about creativity:
You may not have thought of it this way before, but creativity is a big part of your personal development. It's definitely a massive part of my own personal growth journey. It's not just something you're born with, and it's not just something you practice a few times and then you're done. You can't check it off a list.
It's a muscle. You've got to exercise it and keep it in good shape, and the better shape it's in, the better it performs. The most obvious way to exercise that creative muscle is to do creative things. Whether you're finger painting with your niece or creating a masterpiece doesn't matter, as long as your working it.
However, you need the full-creative-body-workout if you're really going to exercise your creativity to the max. That means continuously learning and finding new things every day to motivate and inspire you.
There's lots of different ways to do that, from blogs to books, to our favorite feel-good movies. But one of my favorite ways is through podcasts.
Mhmmm that's what you came for.
This one's for you, my fellow podcast junkies.
