My 2020 Personal Development Book Reading List

If you're a fellow self-help junkie, you've just stumbled on my own personal development goldmine: my reading list for this year. (Lord help me as I try to get through them all).

I've been slowly adding to this list based on best sellers lists, personal recommendations, listening to interviews on podcasts, and eyeing up my local library.

As some of you who follow along may already know, I've been setting off on my own personal development journey to tackle ten specific areas of my life one at a time with focus and maybe a dash or two of perfectionism induced anxiety. That includes whiteboard goals, bingeing podcasts, watching documentaries, and a mountain of self help books.

The ten areas of life I'm focusing on this year are, in no particular order:

  1. Physical health

  2. Physical fitness

  3. Mental/emotional health

  4. Financial health/spending habits

  5. My relationship with stuff

  6. Interests and creativity

  7. Food and Nutrition

  8. Habits and routines

  9. My relationship with myself and image

  10. My relationship with others

As such, you might notice that some of the books are pretty tailored to one of more of these areas.

Even so, I think most of them could be beneficial for everyone to learn from, so check them out! And if you've already read them, I'd love to hear your experience and thoughts. Let me know down in the comments which ones you've read or plan to read this year too.

As I read these and add more to my lists, I'll continue to update this list so you may want to bookmark it and keep coming back.

If you'd like to read along with me, you can find me on Instagram @brittney_kiera_ where I'll keep everyone updated on what I'm currently reading (check out my highlights) and working on in my personal development journey.

Stay posted!

Again, I'm going to continuously update this list so keep checking back to see what else I add.

If you have any recommendations of your favorite personal development books, especially ones related to those 10 life areas, let me know in the comments or DM me on Instagram - @brittney_kiera_.
